I am a Ph.D. Graduate, advised by Prof. Jason Wiese, and alumni of the Personal Data and Empowerment Lab (PeDEL) of the Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah.

My Ph.D. research stood at the intersection of Human-Centered Computing (HCC), Smart Home Technology/IoT, and Accessibility in a hospital setting. My dissertation, titled "Leveraging Smart Home Technology in Patient Rooms to Improve the Patient and Healthcare Worker Experience," shares patient and employee experiences of living and working in smart patient rooms as well as design opportunities for future smart hospitals.

Currently, my duty position is the Chief of Operations and Cyber Strategist for the Army Cyber Institute. My research focuses on exploring the challenges facing the U.S. Army (and likewise the Nation) within the cyber domain in the next 3-10 years.
